Very good colour. Very fresh, pure margaux fruit on the nose. On the palate a certain leanness. So quite rich. Not bad. But perhaps just that little bit short. Good though. From 2002.

Eighty percent new wood but very fine wood. Good colour. Lovely nose. Really rich and concentrated and classy. Very stylish indeed. lovely fruit. Ripe and balanced and complex. This is very good indeed. From 2004.

What? Who? This is rich and powerful with masses of fruit, character and tannins. One of the sleepers of the vintage. Long, long finish. Best after 2002.

A great surprise of the vintage. All finesse and length, a wonderful, seamless wine boasting berry, licorice and spice aromas and flavors, loads of fruit and a long, silky finish. Almost classic.

Excellent, rich, mocha coffee nose with good underlying fruit. Well structured plate of good fruit and lots of new oak. Long on the finish.
